What an unusual name, right? Folkekøkken (literally people's kitchen) is a Danish concept of social dining, where people & conversations are the key ingredients of the evening, where cultures & stories are shared in a cosy environment and where you can meet new people from different walks of life. It takes us beyond dining as we know it and creates a space that brings together strangers and regulars of all ages, who can chat over a meal and get to know one another in a relaxed atmosphere 🧆🥘🍽️🙋🏽‍♀️🧑🏼‍🦳🧕.

At our take on Folkekøkken, we will introduce you to both new people and new cuisines of people living in Slovakia. The next edition of Folkekøkken in Nitra will introduce you to the true spirit of IRAQ

We invite you to taste quality homemade Iraqi food which our friend Mirna and her mother Najat will prepare for us. Together with them, we will meet at one table and taste dishes such as 🥣 byriany برياني or 🥗 žažik چاچيك, we will also enjoy Arabian black tea and sweet baklava. Vegetarians will also enjoy themselves. Even vegetarians will definitely eat.
